Now He Is On Facebook

Do you know how annoying a kid could be?
Do you know how annoying it is when a kid bug you every single time you are in front of your laptop?
Do you know how annoying it is when your parents start to support your little brother?
Do you know how annoying it is to listen to past stories?

Because of all of the above I SURRENDER!
I finally made a Facebook account for my little brother.
I have no idea what he is going to use it for.
But, after all the thinking.
He couldn't do much cause he doesn't know how to use it YET!
So here it is!

The most annoying kid I have ever known with Jack Sparrow

I Miss Them

Ramadhan month is supposed to be the month where people get together and improve their relationships with each other besides improving your own relationship with Allah The Almighty with all your ibadah and good behaviour.

It has not been a good relationship improvement between me, my family and my other family members, the big ones. We have not had any chance to have breaking fast together. We usually have at least twice or trice every year and as 11 days had passed we have not had any and it is quite disappointing as this is my first year after 2 years I have had my ramadhan not at home. So, I was hoping for some get together with the big family and it has not yet to be happened.

I am wondering when will this be happening. Everyone is pretty tied up with their work and what ever that they are doing. It has been like that since forever (as in my teen age). It get very hard for us to meet up and it gets disappointing when we had made all the arrangements but nothing happened in the end.

I am really really hoping that this year will be a good year where we get to break our fast together at least for three times. I really do hope so cause I MISS THEM LIKE CRAZY!

When we were all small and cute :)

What's Up With People and Being Stuck In The Past?

I have posted an entry before about letting go and moving on with your lives but at the same time not forgetting the journey so that you can learn from it. That is what I believed in and it will never change, Insyaallah!

However, I have encountered some events in the past where people are still stuck in the past and what they thought in the past and what they could have done in the past and what the past has to offer. Again....MOVE ON!

I would like to give an analogy for this whole idea of mine.

There is this one company which shall be called as Company A. Company A has Ms. Sweetheart as the Director. For the past 6 years, she was the one who build the name of Company A and it has been successful and people in the business know the existence and how successful the company has been. However, for the past 2 years Ms. Sweetheart has become different than what she has been when she started working in the company. She became more snobbish, more arrogant, more eluded. People in the company were not in favour of her anymore. She rarely seen in the office and when she does showed up, its chaos. Plus, she took advantage of her title in the company. Easy to say, it was an abused of power.

People were not very fond of her since that attitude appeared. People are getting annoyed and they were not giving her respect as before. To make the long story short, Ms. Sweetheart was asked to resign and she did. Her position was replaced by Ms. Apple. Ms. Apple was Ms. Sweetheart assistant before and that she knew what was going to happen and how to handle the company in absence of Ms. Sweetheart.

In making her way up in that business again, Ms. Sweetheart build a new company and was involved in the same line of business as Company A. Ms. Apple got her hands on this and told everyone in the company regarding the new company evolving in the same business line. Afraid of competitions, Ms. Apple and Company A began following every step of the way of Ms. Sweetheart's new company, Company B. After a few months, it was time for Company B to make its debut appearance in the business. Not knowing the sources Ms. Apple had the statement from the company for the press beforehand. She began to criticize, laugh at the statement and kept on judging what ever is written on the statement. All of this was resultant from jealousy and fear.

Out of the sudden the Managing Director from Company A began tweeting about how bad Company B is. Saying things which were inappropriate and immature. Ignoring all these, Ms. Sweetheart continues with her success and managing the company well.

So, what can we learn from the above?

I am saying the Ms. Apple and the Managing Director from Company A are stuck with the past. Once Ms. Sweetheart has resigned from the company they should not have bothered about what ever is planned by her. Criticizing, laughing, judging, following EVERY STEP were indeed a chicken act. They are immature acts and inappropriate. For me, they should have let go of the fact that Ms. Sweetheart is not a staff anymore. She has no concern in the company anymore. What they should have done is that to improve their own performance rather than laughing at other's work. If they are afraid of competitions then they should have upgraded their performance and their outcome/results and not by pulling someone down that drain that way.

I mean, lets be mature for once. Let go of the fact that the person is not under your concern anymore and let that person do whatever that she wants to do. She has children to feed too. She has bills to pay to. How is she supposed to pay the bills and put food on the table if she has no job? She has to find ways to put the food on the table. She has to find ways to pay the bills and the only way she knows how to do it is by the same business as her previous work.

Move on with your own life. Stop moving on in someone else's life. Stop following and analysing other people's life. You have to start to analyse your own life and move on with it. It has no meaning to be stuck in the past and not moving on because the clock will never wait for you. You have to run to catch up with it. You have to move forward to catch up with the time. There is no point looking backwards as the time is moving forward. So, MOVE ON!

p/s: I am kinda sick talking about this all the time but this is the reality. People are having a bad way of moving on.

Love,
MARL!

Fabulousity

Hey Team Fabulosity (with Kimora's tone)

I am taking the Kimora's trade marks, Fabulosity in this post. Me talking about the Buka Puasa event with mah buddies/besties/ex-classmates.

We have this every year and it has been our tradition since we finished our high school days. This year is our third year buka puasa-ing together on one of the days. We always have this. One time in puasa month and another during raya period. This has been our tradition. For the past 2 years, our location must have been the Italiannese but we have decided to choose another place and that was 'Flying Chillies' in the Gardens.

The place was cool. Not bad. The food was awesome too. Me lovey lovey the green curry chicken. We made that place as our own. We surely did. We were there from 6pm till about 9.30pm. We laughed non-stop, we talked non-stop. We had so much fun and it was so nice to see each other again. It was a great night and hopefully this tradition will go on for a long time. However, I am quite sad once I heard the others are flying off soon.

Myra is going to fly to Iowa, US next week. Alvena is going off in September. Mayuri is going in January next year. So, year by year someone is going off and that means our gang with become less people and less people year by year. Me so sad.

What ever it is, I am still hoping that our friendship lasts forever and I really do mean forever!

Love,
MARL!

Lessons Learnt

image from todayslyrics.tumblr.com
Hey all,

How's Ramadan so far? Full..still? LOL.

Well, today's post is mainly about how you should move on and must not get stuck with the past.

I was inspired by some status posted by some of my friends from my friend's list for example, 'How I wish today can be repeated. Tomorrow will never come' That sort of thing. Frankly speaking I am not a fan of this.

I believe in moving on and stopped thinking about the past. I am not saying that you should forget everything that has happened in the past but to only STOP thinking about it. If you have made a few mistakes back then and of course you wished that everything could be rewind so that you won't make that mistakes but let me tell you something friend, that is the beauty of making mistakes. You learned from them. Take that mistakes and try not making the same mistakes again. You have to Stop thinking about it, not forget about it totally cause that is still memories and forgetting it means you will not have memories at all. What I am saying is that, you need to stop whining about it. Stop complaining about it. Stop making excuses about it. Stop asking for a rewind. Just STOP and focus on the lessons you should be learning from it. There is no use if you kept on talking about what you could have done to make things right. The deeds are done. There is nothing that you can do to make it right anymore. You just have to move on and accept your mistakes and learn from it.

My experience on this has been so many. I had my ups and downs. I screwed up ALOT! My latest would be the moot competition. I at one moment thought what if I can ask for a rebattle or something so that I can make it right and make it better than before. That obviously not going to happen. That is the reality. I accepted it and I took all my mistakes as my lessons to be learnt from. I know what I have to do for my next competition to improve my presentation. I had some positive remarks that may help me improve myself. The negative comments are not going to be dumped just like that, I have to take all that it so that I can improve my presentation skills next time. You see, I moved ON! I did not complain about it. I did not ask for a repeat and I did not make excuses for my lost.

The mistakes we did are the lessons that we have to learn.

There is no point looking back on the past. There is nothing that we can do to change the past. What is Done IS Done! So be it! We, the current living the life should look forward and carry on with our lives. Have faith on the future and have a goal/aim so that we can move towards it.

Basically that is all that I want to put in this entry. There are more in my mind but I don't think it is necessary to be put in this post.

So, that's the end of it.

Remember, MOVE ON AND LIVE YOU LIFE FORWARD. DON'T GET STUCK WITH THE PAST. THERE IS NO USE LOOKING BACK!

Love,
MARL!

New Lawyer Joke

New Lawyer Joke

Joe grew up in small town America, then moved halfway across the country to attend college and law school.

After graduating, he returned to his small town roots, dreaming that one day he could be the big shot in town. He really wanted to impress everyone badly.

After opening his new law practice, business was very slow at first. One day, he saw a man coming up the sidewalk. He decided to make a big impression on this new client when he arrived.

As the man came to the door, Joe picked up the phone. He motioned the man in, all the while talking...

"No. Absolutely not. You tell those clowns in New York that I won't settle this case for less than one million..."

"Yes. The Appeals Court has agreed to hear that case next week. I'll be handling the primary argument and the other members of my team will provide support..."

"Okay. Tell the D.A. that I'll meet with him next week to discuss the details..."

This behavior went on for almost 5 minutes. All the while, the visitor sat patiently as Joe rattled instructions.

Finally, Joe put down the phone and turned to the man. "I'm sorry for the delay, but as you can see, I'm very busy today. What can I do for you?"

The man replied, "I'm from the phone company. I came to hook up your phone."

Lawyer Joke No.2

I suppose I earned enough

An elderly and somewhat hard-of-hearing man was sitting in a stylish downtown attorney's office as his lawyer handed him his will. "Your estate is very complex," said the lawyer, "but I've made sure that all of your wishes will be executed. Due to the complexity, my fee is $4500."

Just then, the phone rang and the lawyer got involved with a long call. Thinking the lawyer had said "$500," the old man wrote out his check and left.

When she got off the phone and realized the old man's mistake, the lawyer ran after him down the stairs and into the parking lot just as he drove away. Feeling frustrated, the lawyer looked at the check and decided to accept the situation philosophically. "Oh well," she said to herself, "$500 for half an hour's work isn't bad."
