The Question Is.....

......Will We Spend Our Raya in the Hospital?

There is a possibility

Hakim is doing pretty well right now

but, his temperature has not dropped below 37.5 Degrees yet.

Before I left the hospital, he got rashes on his hands, neck and legs

which caused by allergy (that's what the doctor said)

However, my parents and I suspected MEASLES (Demam campak)

If it happens to be measles, we might spend raya in the hospital because it'll take up to

5 days!

If he is well by monday that means he will be discharged then.

It is still a QUESTION MARK (?)

Those are the words said by our beloved 4th Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamed in the Biography Program on Channel 555 Astro. It was my normal afternoon at home doing nothing. Played around with the channels available on Astro when I happened to come across this program. Due to my interest on Mahathir's career, I stayed on.

The program was basically telling the stories and journeys of Dr. M throughout his period of leading this country. It was a memorable 22 years of time. A person will have their brightest shining moment and they will also have their dull and dark moments. Same goes with Dr. M. The program tells about the ups and downs of the period of his time.

Everybody knows that Dr. M is such an outspoken person. He criticised, commented on the matters that were not from his point of view correct. He was not afraid of what others will say and what others think. All that matters to him is that he has to say something.

As I was watching the program, I was touched by his efforts and perspiration towards changing the Malays. He cared about the Malays and that he did almost everything he could have done to change Malays' mentality and attitude.

Before that, he had also tried his best to keep track of the global modernization. His efforts in making sure that Malaysia was not left behind, he made the modern projects came true; Petronas Twin Tower, Sepang Circuit, Smart Tunnel, LRT, Komuter, Monorail etc. Without any of these, Malaysia will not be known in the world.

To those who might not know this or might not have any clue on this, people in the world do not know where Malaysia is but they know Mahathir. They do not know where Malaysia is but they know the Tallest Twin Tower in the world. They do not know where Malaysia is but they know that there is one race that will be held at Sepang Circuit. They do not know where Malaysia is but they know the multi-racial multi-cultural country below Thailand above Singapore in the map. Just imagine friends, without any of the above landmarks build by him, where would Malaysia stand now? Would anyone in the world knows where Malaysia is? Think!

Back to the main thing I wanted to touch in this post is regarding one simple sentence told by Dr. Siti Hasmah, Dr.M's wife.

She said (I improvised)

"His mission is to change the Malays. He wants the Malays to be at par with the Non-Malays. He wants Malays to change their mentality and attitude. He wants the Malays to be strong. But, after 22 years trying he always thinks that he had failed."

So, I want to ask the Malays,

DO YOU THINK THAT THE MALAYS HAVE CHANGED OR THEY ARE STILL WHO THEY ARE; LAID BACK KINDA THING? HAS DR.M MANAGED TO TEACH THE MALAYS TO BE AT THE SAME PAR WITH THE NON-MALAYS? HAS HE? THINK PEOPLE!

A Scary Statement

Hello friends,

I know I may have promised some of the followers that my update will be about my research on myself which I carried out two days ago but I think this is more important than that.

Guess what.

My mum had just made a statement that knocked me off my feet!!! And it was SCARY! Really!

Her statement was

'Sebenarnya mama yang dah tak sabar kakak ada boyfriend. Mama nak tengok

lelaki macam mana yang kakak pilih'

CAN YOU FEEL MY HORROR RIGHT NOW?

This was just about relationships bf/gf and I am seriously freaking out. I mean its like telling me I should get married or something. Imagine, I am scared when she asked about boyfriend. What about the future where she will eventually ask about marriage or something. MAN! How do I handle these kind of stuff?

So, HELP ME FIND ONE! (do I sound so desperate right now? I hate that!)

I believe that when its time ITS TIME! No rush!
